ALLScape Lighting - Sky Friendly Area LightingStarry Night Lights is pleased to announce the addition of ALLScape Lighting to our lineup of environmentally friendly commercial lighting solutions. ALLScape brings some great designs and a high quality manufacturing process to the table. ALLScape Lights use state of the art photometric efficiency to put the light where you need it with little or no spill into areas that should not be illuminated. Add in high efficiency and long life operations and you have a recipe for significantly reduced cost of ownership. Checkout the BL-80, pictured above. This full cutoff building mounted wall pack aims 100% of the light it produces down onto the ground where its needed… with no light escaping wastefully up into the night sky. This precision allows for the use of lower wattages than many of the trashy wall packs you run into regularly. The BL-80 is also available in a range of lamping options including compact fluorescent, metal halide and low pressure sodium to meet virtually any requirements. The same goes for the AL-06. Precision engineering combines with state of the art photometrics to produce an area light that just can’t be beat. No more flooding the adjoining neighborhood with unwanted light at night. The AL-06 is neighbor friendly and provides excellent nighttime visibility while dramatically reducing light pollution. Put simply, reduced light pollution = reduced energy bills = reduced global warming emissions. How can you go wrong with that equation? The AL-06 makes a great parking lot light. Its modern design and high efficiency lamp options offer lighting engineers the tools they need to do the job right. Here’s another common light, the step light. These are typically installed inside the concrete risers of steps and walkways. These are ideal for this use. Their (typically) low lighting levels and low mounting height put light where its needed… and no where else. This reduces the amount of energy consumed… provides enhanced night time visibility… This entry was posted on Wednesday, April 30th, 2008 at 4:09 am and is filed under Area Lighting, Commercial Lighting, Outdoor Lighting, green building.
