Click on the accompanying video link to view a scene that I came across a few weeks ago on my return from a trip to Goblin Valley in southern Utah. We were coming out of Spanish Fork Canyon around dusk on a Sunday evening. The sun had just set behind the Oquirrh Mountains to the west. In the foreground was a field full of slowly spinning wind turbines. Wind turbines harvest the power of the wind to cleanly generate electricity. This is becomming one of the key symbols of renewable energy. Wind farms, as they’re often called are popping up everywhere the wind blows, cleanly generating electric power as well as significant sums of money for their owners. And yet, something was not quite right. Take a closer look. Behind these symbols of our clean, renewable energy driven society of the future was a large facility (closed since Friday evening), lit to the hilt by carefully spaced glare bombs. These particular lights wastefully send a significant portion of the light they produce into the night sky. As if this wasn’t bad enough, this particular facility had been closed since 5pm on Friday evening. So, these wasteful lights were lighting a facility that was not even open for business. Wow, a double whammy of waste. Bad outdoor lighting illuminating an area where nobody was even present. Hopefully, places like this will soon become a thing of the past. Our poor planet can only take som much of this behavior.
Sustainable Energy Meets Unsustainable Outdoor Lighting

Wind mills sure helps the world from getting polluted. in the future government should invest in using this form of energy than the fossils
